Nabapalli Sangha — a centenarian puja of Charu Avenue

Nabapalli Sangha is a community Durga Puja celebrated at Charu Avenue, near Rabindra Sarobar in the Tollygunge belt of South Kolkata. Approaching its centenary (a 100-year celebration was anticipated around 2026), the puja is one of the long-established neighbourhood festivals of the area and a familiar stop on the southern pandal route.

The club is known for its traditional outlook and community focus. Like many para-based pujas, Nabapalli Sangha marks the festival with the familiar sequence of khuti puja, pandal construction, daily rituals, cultural programmes and the immersion procession, drawing families from across the locality and beyond.
