Pally Mangal Samity Sarbojanin conducts its Durga Puja at the Taltala Ground in the Dhakuria–Garfa belt of south Kolkata, a celebration established in 1960. Over six decades the club has grown into a dependable stop on the southern pandal route, drawing families from the surrounding residential blocks as well as city-wide visitors during the festival. Its longevity mirrors the post-independence spread of community pujas into the expanding southern neighbourhoods of Kolkata.

The committee is known for thematic presentations that balance devotion with contemporary artistry. For 2025 the club announced the theme Tin Netra (তিন এ নেত্র, "Three Eyes"), a concept that lent itself to symbolic pandal decor and lighting. Like many neighbourhood pujas, Pally Mangal Samity emphasises community participation — from the ceremonial khuti puja that marks the start of construction to the cultural programmes staged through the festive days. Its location in a densely populated part of Dhakuria–Garfa keeps it firmly rooted in local tradition while still experimenting with modern design. The festival here unfolds along the familiar rhythm of the Bengali autumnal calendar: the goddess is welcomed on Shashthi, worshipped through Saptami to Navami, and bid farewell on Dashami with the immersion procession and the playful sindoor khela among married women.
