Chalta Bagan Durga Puja, also known as Manicktala Chaltabagan Lohapatty, is a historic community Durga Puja in the Manicktala area of North Kolkata, with roots going back to 1943. The puja is celebrated by the Chaltabagan Lohapatty community and is noted for its traditional, sabeki character. In 2019 the pandal and idol were documented on Wikimedia Commons, reflecting growing heritage interest in the city's older neighbourhood pujas. Situated in Manicktala — part of North Kolkata's celebrated puja belt alongside names like Kumartuli, Hatibagan and Shobhabazar — Chalta Bagan embodies the paras-based barowari tradition that defines the city's autumn festival.
